Laptop Repair DVD Video
Many of my contacts have begged me to produce a simple guide to open up a Laptop or Notepad computer the easy way.
I actually do the repair quite cheaply but due to postage prices It is too expensive postal repair outside the UK I try my best to help by email but its not really good enough. So on the request of my friends I have on several attempts and made a fairly decent DVD Video of the project as the result. The video consist of over 1 hour and 40 minutes of footage.

The Video DVD shows me opening a general or specific Laptop, removing all parts and performing a cleanse of components and replacing a Power Jack or DC Socket and putting it back together again. Included are lots of tips and hints. I am not the greatest of person to narrate or do voice over but so far only good comments. I am working all the time to improve the Video and will be making several model versions.
I also would like to have Subtitles and Voice in English, French, German and Spanish.

If you can help please email me. On the next version of the project due to start on 01/03/2010 (Delayed) will include Soldering Tips for beginners, and super Close ups of the same model. That will be the template format of other models, or if feedback demands a different layout. I am all ears. The DVD has sold about 10200 copies so far since 2008 and has given me great courage in the project. I didn’t realize how popular this would be. I would love always try to make this a better product and respect any help in the form of feedback or future support in improvements.
